American Airlines announced that it will take the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans to Brazil for a big game that will kick off the 2024 NFL season, the professional American football league. This special flight from Philadelphia to São Paulo (GRU) marks the first time the company has offered nonstop service to South America from PHL.
With a flight on September 5th, Philadelphia Eagles fans can book a direct flight to GRU to watch the exciting duel against the Green Bay Packers, which will be held on September 6th in São Paulo, at the Neoquímica Arena. Additionally, American will offer return service from GRU to PHL on September 7th after the game.
American Airlines is the official airline of the Philadelphia Eagles and a partner of the team since 2015, chartering the Eagles for every away game during the regular season. To celebrate the shared connection between the city of Philadelphia and its hometown team, American has assigned flight numbers AA215 and AA62 for this special trip to Brazil.
American is also offering Eagles Perks, the Eagles' membership program, to fans who are AAdvantage customers. Some of the benefits include the chance to win exclusive experiences with the franchise, including a plane trip to Brazil.
Reservations for a special American Airlines flight to Brazil can be made on the American Airlines website. American Airlines or via American's mobile app starting April 22.
