VOEPASS carries out humanitarian flights to support the “Fly Together for RS” Campaign

Last Wednesday, May 15th, a VOEPASS Linhas Aéreas model ATR 72 aircraft, configured as a freighter, took off from Ribeirão Preto (SP) towards Passo Fundo (RS) carrying 4,5 tons of humanitarian aid, including medicines. . The aircraft will also be dedicated to distributing items collected in the Ribeirão Preto region through the Voe Junto pelo RS campaign. Flight operations will take place from Thursday, the 16th, until Sunday, the 19th.

The measure is part of a series of actions promoted by a group of 23 companies and entities that, together, have raised donations and financial resources to pay for the transportation of this material, ensuring that it effectively reaches the population affected by the destruction caused by heavy rains. in the last days. 

The initiative has already taken more than 100 tons of food, water, medicines, personal hygiene kits and clothes to Passo Fundo, from where they will be distributed by VOEPASS aircraft to Santa Maria, Pelotas, Canoas and other airports, according to demand. It is estimated that more than 10 dedicated air cargo operations will be carried out to distribute the items to the most affected locations.

Fly Together Campaign for RS

A group of companies and entities from the interior of São Paulo came together voluntarily to raise funds and donations for the victims of the rains in Rio Grande do Sul. 

This group includes AEAARP, Agro Lavoro, AM4, Assovale, Grupo CargoPolo, Confinamento São Lucas, Fazenda Chapada Grande, Fazenda São José, Fert Log, Hugo Engenharia, Nissan Keiji, RGE Agronegócios, RibTubos, Rodomacro, Said, Grupo Sol, Toniello Group, Sol Aviation, TMA, Transmaz, TWS Transportes, Via Brasil, Viralcool and VoePass.
