A Cargo Blue, the cargo division of Azul Linhas Aéreas, will operate the Airbus A321F next year, the cargo version of the largest aircraft in the A320 family.
The model does not yet operate in Brazil, making its operation unprecedented until then. In addition to Azul Cargo, other cargo companies also intend to bring the model to Brazil. The arrival of the A321F is a more profitable option compared to the current Boeing 737-400F, which should have their leasing contracts not renewed.
At Azul, the A321F will have the capacity to transport up to 25 tons of cargo in 14 palletized positions, increasing capacity to +14,6k tons per year.
According to the company, the new model should operate from Azul Cargo in the 1st half of 2025.
