Brasília Airport is receiving donations of non-perishable food, water, clothing, personal hygiene and cleaning items to take to those left homeless by the heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul. Collection points are signposted at the Brasília terminal and are located at the Information Desk (departures floor) and arrivals hall, close to the car rental stores. Donations will be received by customer service staff 24 hours a day.
All items collected will be delivered by the concessionaire at the Brasília Air Base, and the Brazilian Air Force will carry out all the logistics for shipping and delivering the items to Rio Grande do Sul.
