Brazil gains new airline dedicated to the logistics sector

A Total express, an integrated logistics company with the largest scope and robustness in the country, began on the 05th, a new chapter in its 30-year trajectory – the creation of a cargo airline that arrives with the mission of shortening distances and further optimizing processes of the company that has the largest delivery coverage, serving 100% of the country.

The announcement is a milestone for Total Express, which becomes the first in the national logistics segment to launch its own airline and operate in this select modal.

Since 2021, Total Express has already met the high demand of the e-commerce market, sending orders by chartering dedicated aircraft.

The increase in demands for the northern region, combined with Total Express' commitment to connecting businesses and bringing people together, motivated the investment in the cargo airline, as the company's strategy to offer fast and efficient transport to the extreme regions of the country.

The new Total Express airline's corporate name is Anivia Serviços Aéreos Ltda and should contribute to significant growth in the volume of goods transported via air by the logistics company.

After completing certification with ANAC – National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), Total Express received the Air Operator Certificate (COA), and began its operation with the company's inaugural flight, which took place last Tuesday , 05, departing from Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), in São Paulo, heading to Manaus International Airport (MAO), in Amazonas.

The first aircraft in operation, a Boeing 737-300F, has dedicated cargo transport capacity, offering a payload of up to 18,6 tons in 132 cubic meters of volumetric capacity.

The first route made available by Total Express – São Paulo – Manaus, will serve deliveries in the northern region of the country with more frequency, speed and reduced delivery times, and is part of the strategy to add value to Total Express' business. 4 to 5 weekly operations are planned for the transport of the most diverse products, whether from small and medium-sized e-commerce companies to retail giants.
 

Another highlight for the route is the presence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone, an area of ​​free import and export trade and special tax incentives that, in addition to encouraging socioeconomic development in the region, is of great relevance for strengthening the sector in scope. national, which now has a regular and reliable service option for the Amazon market.
