Flybondi, the first low-cost airline to connect Brazil and Argentina, will include in its routes a new connection between winter destinations highly sought after by Brazilians, in Patagonia.

From August 2nd this year, the company will begin flying between the stunning and unmissable cities of Ushuaia and El Calafate. This will be the company's fifth interprovincial route and tickets are now on sale online starting at R$174 (final price per segment).

Connectivity between the provinces of Tierra del Fuego and Santa Cruz will have a frequency of four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

  • Ushuaia – El Calafate: departure 10:35am | arrival 11:55am

  • El Calafate – Ushuaia: departure at 10:00 | arrival 11:30am

“With this route, we seek to boost connectivity in the south of the country. Ushuaia and El Calafate are two destinations that combine very well, and that is why we are launching this new connection for the winter season”, said Mauricio Sana, CEO of Flybondi . He then added: “We are very happy to be able to offer our passengers more connectivity options without passing through Buenos Aires.”

In Brazil, Flybondi connects Buenos Aires to São Paulo, Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro. The company will operate in the capital of São Paulo in May for six days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), with a promotional fare starting at R$1.030, round trip.

Furthermore, for the first time Flybondi will fly to Florianópolis year-round: from May to November, three flights per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, from December to January 2025. Tickets are now on sale on the company's website , from R$291 final price per segment. The route to Rio de Janeiro continues with daily flights, from R$354 final price per segment.

Thanks to its continuous growth, since 2022 Flybondi is the 2nd largest airline in Argentina and one of the fastest growing airlines in Latin America in recent years. It has a fleet of 15 aircraft, which fly to 18 national and 3 international destinations, on 25 routes (17 national from Buenos Aires, 5 interprovincial and 3 international) and transport more than 11 million passengers.
