The Embraer Institute today launched a donation campaign, in partnership with the NGO Visão Mundial Brasil, with the aim of providing drinking water, non-perishable food and hygiene and cleaning items to families impacted by the floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
People interested in helping victims can make financial contributions via the website Emergency Rio Grande do Sul (visaomundial.org). Physical donations can be delivered to the entrances of Embraer Units in São José dos Campos, Botucatu and Gavião Peixoto.
The initial focus is on serving regions that are in a declared State of Public Calamity, such as the population of Roca Sales and Lajeado. The NGO will coordinate deliveries of the kits with Civil Defense and other suppliers.
The joint humanitarian action is part of the Embraer Institute's “Climate Emergency” program and follows the same model used to help families affected by the rains that occurred on the North Coast of São Paulo last year, when 4 thousand families benefited from the action. from the NGO.
