Plane tries to take off and almost leaves the runway at Zurich airport

A stunning video shows the moment an Edelweiss Air plane almost leaves the runway as it tries to take off at Zurich Airport. The incident happened on October 27th and shows the pilots' quick action to ensure that the takeoff did not turn into a tragedy.

According to information from Aviation Herald, passengers reported that the aircraft began to shake during takeoff, followed by a sudden turn to the left and right.

At the time of the incident, the Airbus A320 was traveling at a speed of around 142 knots (262 km/h), forcing the pilots to reject takeoff, a procedure that resulted in a burst tire.

Edelweiss reported that it is investigating the incident and that passengers had their flight to Faro, in Portugal, rescheduled.
