Recife Carnival will feature 41 extra Azul flights

The blue one is preparing to carry out 41 extra flights departing or arriving in Recife (PE) during Carnival, between February 9th and 19th.

The capital of Pernambuco will have extra flights that will connect Azul's main hub in the Northeast with important routes in the Southeast, Central-West and Northeast. Thus, there will be two flights to/from Campinas (SP), six to Goiânia (GO), six flights to Aracaju (SE), six to Salvador (BA), one to Fortaleza (CE), six to João Pessoa (PB), four to Maceió (AL), six to Natal (RN), two to Galeão Airport, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and two to Guarulhos (SP).

“Recife has a beautiful festival and is a very popular destination to enjoy Carnival festivities. As an important hub for the company, Recife airport will be very busy during this period, even more so with the extra flights. Tourists from Brazil and also foreigners who are in the country during carnival will be able to discover, with Azul, why Pernambuco's carnival is so popular”, comments Vitor Silva, general manager of Mesh and Strategic Planning at Blue Airlines. Currently, the capital of Pernambuco has, on average, 80 daily flights to more than 40 destinations, including international flights.

Flights to the Northeast

In general, the Brazilian Northeast will receive a significant increase, with 167 extra flights, connecting travelers to traditional destinations such as Salvador (BA), Aracajú (SE), Fortaleza (CE), Jericoacoara (CE), João Pessoa (PB), Maceió (AL) and Natal (RN). In the meantime, the company will provide another 64 additional flights to eight other states in the Brazilian Southeast and Central-West, serving 26 cities.
