After problems on Sunday, Procon notifies administration of Recife Airport

After repercussions from consumers with problems with flights at Recife International Airport, Procon-PE, Pernambuco Consumer Protection Agency, notified the airport administration, Aena Brasil, on the morning of this Monday, 27/06.

Early in the evening of Sunday, the 26th, the airport had lighting problems on the runway, making it impossible for flights to take off and land. Due to this failure to provide services, many consumers were harmed in their commitments.

Procon is notifying the airport management to clarify what happened and has also notified the airlines to verify compliance with ANAC resolution 400, in which companies must provide all assistance to passengers, emphasizes the Secretary of Justice and Human Rights , Marcelo Canuto.  

Procon PE has a service unit inside the airport. We are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 17 pm. In view of this weekend's inconvenience, our team is ready to provide support and verify compliance with consumer rights, informs the General Manager of Procon-PE, Pedro Cavalcanti.

The Procon-PE unit at Recife Airport is on the first floor, opposite the Companhia Aérea Azul station.
