ANAC revokes ordinance that limited the increase in flights in Recife

Recife Airport

Aena Brasil, the concessionaire responsible for managing the Recife International Airport, informed that ANAC revoked Ordinance No. 6169. With the suspension of the precautionary measure, the number of flights from Recife Airport can be increased, if necessary.

According to information from Aena, Anac's ordinance did not affect movement or security at the airport, which continued to operate normally, with regular takeoffs and landings.

The ordinance also did not interfere with the additions of regular flights already registered with Anac for the Brazilian summer season. During the days in which the ordinance was in effect, Aena Brasil maintained permanent contact with the airlines and competent authorities to follow up on the case.
