In the coming months, Boa Vista will have direct flights connecting Venezuela via Porto Ordaz operated by Venezuelan Rutaca Airlines.

According to information from the portal Upata Digital, the airline held an event last week to announce the new international route.

The expectation is that flights will begin in June, an operation widely celebrated by businesspeople from the Bolívar state region, who seek greater economic diversification in the northern region of Brazil with Venezuela. It is not yet known how many frequencies will be operated and what equipment will carry out the international flight.

Interestingly, Rutaca will operate a non-scheduled flight between April 24th and 28th as announced here on the Aeroflap portal, the operation will serve to bring together Venezuelan businesspeople with representatives of the Boa Vista economic sector during the Roraima Tourism Fair.

Currently, Rutaca Airlines operates Boeing 737-300 and classic 737-200 aircraft, including the McDonnell Douglas MD-83 and MD-85, aircraft with rare appearances in Brazil in recent years.
