In March and April, the Aeroclube de Pirassununga carried out a food collection campaign in favor of NGOs that provide support to rescued animals in the city.

Each kilo of food donated gave the right to a chance to compete for a scenic flight at the Aeroclube. The flight draw was carried out live on Aeroclube's social networks on 21/04, which marked the end of the campaign.

More than 250kg of food was collected and distributed among animal protection entities in Pirassununga. The Pirassununguense community was very receptive and supported the campaign a lot, radio stations and food stores participated voluntarily, publicizing and helping with fundraising.

The Pirassununga Aeroclube, in addition to being approved as a CIAC (Civil Aviation Instruction Center), is a social entity that organizes and supports community projects in the city.
