A rare Ilyushin Il-76 from the Russian company Volga-Dnepr, performed an operation today (01) at the Gilberto Freyre International Airport in Recife/Guararapes. The aircraft registration RA-79651 was received by Volga-Dnepr in September 2007, therefore this aircraft is 13 years old.

Volga-Dnepr carried out an operation today (01) in Recife from the Regional Airport of Frankfurt-Hahn in Germany. The Ilyushin Il-76 made a technical stopover at Ilha do Sal (SID), where it also stayed overnight for the crew to rest. The plane landed at 12:52 in Recife (local time). 

The aircraft's final destination is Santiago on flight VDA4354, scheduled to take off from Recife at 04:00 am (local time) on the morning of March 2nd. Volga-Dnepr is known for transporting large volumes of cargo, having a fleet consisting of 5 Ilyushin Il-76 and 12 Antonov 124.
