This week, GOL signed a codeshare agreement with the ultra-regional network of Abaeté Linhas Aéreas, to serve several destinations in the interior of Bahia from Salvador (BA).
Currently, the company serves Morro de São Paulo and Península de Maraú from Salvador, but plans to expand its destinations, something that will only be disclosed in full in the coming weeks, after some conversations with GOL.
Abaeté has 17 Cessna Gran Caravan C208 aircraft in its fleet, which can carry 9 passengers per flight. Founded in 1979, Abaeté Aviação brings together a portfolio of services that includes charter, Air ICU, FBO, hangarage, aircraft maintenance, management, sales, executive aviation and Fractional Jets.
Known as ultra-regional companies, such as TwoFlex (now Azul Conecta) and ASTA, Abaeté connects small cities to the major airline hubs, working in partnership with them.
