Customers of GOLLOG, the logistics solutions unit of GOL Linhas Aéreas, have one more service option, this time in the dispatch and collection of their pets that need to be transported by the airline. GOLLOG Animals has just entered into a partnership with PetDriver, an application specialized in transporting pets.

The app works like a normal travel app. Just download it on your cell phone, enter animal information, origin and destination addresses and wait. It is also possible to schedule the race for the desired time in advance. The animal's tutor must accompany it to the GOLLOG terminal, so that it can be dispatched, and the payment for the PetDriver ride is made through the application. For now, the service is only available in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

GOLLOG customers will receive, via email, 20% discount coupons for contracting the PetDriver service, which can be used at Congonhas and Guarulhos (SP) and Santos Dumont and RIOgaleão (RJ) airports. It is also possible to access the coupons directly through the PetDriver application, in the “services” tab.

GOL, which has been offering the animal boarding service since 2001, reinforces its commitment to Safety not only in the transport of people and products, but also of domestic and wild animals. PetDriver, on the other hand, has qualified drivers who love pets and are accredited and evaluated by the customers themselves.

In the car, the dogs are trapped by harnesses and the cats are transported in their boxes, all attached to the car's internal security system. The vehicle is cleaned at the end of each trip and the drivers are accredited.

Other services from GOLLOG Animals

In operation since last year, Semper Comigo can be hired by those who cannot accompany their animal to its destination, but want to have news of it throughout the journey.

The pet guardian will have direct contact with the “Guardians of the animals”, as the Employees responsible for caring for the pets are called.

The Guardians send text messages, photos and videos through the WhatsApp application and the Customer learns in real time about the well-being of their pet during the boarding and disembarking processes, including connections, if any.

Customers also no longer need to worry about buying the box to take their pets. The Company provides specific transport boxes for air transport, following the safety standards defined by the IATA (International Air Transport Association).
